The cast of Merchant take part in a rehearsed reading of THE JEW OF VENICE, in collaboration with The Globe theatre as part of their 'Read Not Dead' season.

Amy has just accepted the role of Jessica in MERCHANT OF VENICE, and various roles in CIDER WITH ROSIE, both at The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds. CIDER WITH ROSIE will also be touring the country,so keep your eyes peeled next Spring!

23rd May 2009

Amy has now recorded epsiode 1.4 of BLAKE'S 7 audio re-make, at The Soundhouse Studios in West London. 'Blood and Earth' was directed by Dominic Devine, cast by David Hall, produced by Andrew Mark Sewell, with Ben Aaronovich as Script Editor. The drama is aimed at radio broadcast on BBC 7 and to be produced as an audio book and podcast.

18th May 2009

Amy has just been offered the role of Ariane Cally in the audio re-make of cult seventies sci-fi classic, 'BLAKE'S 7'. The brand new scripts are being produced by B7 productions for B7 media, and feature several of the original BLAKE'S cast members. Amy will be recording this Friday. Clips will be available for download as soon as possible.

Amy has just accepted the role of Maria in the Thomas Holcroft 'HE'S MUCH TOO BLAME' at The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds. The play will perform at The Theatre Royal and at The Haymarket Basingstoke in September 2009. The play will be directed by Artistic Director Colin Blumenau.

Tweflth Night tours to Basingstoke Haymarket till May 2nd.

Relatively Speaking has opened and is booked at 95% capacity for the full run, so looks like it will be another success for the Theatre Royal. Hurray!

Amy's debut radio play 'Writing The Century 8' was chosen as Radio 4's 'Pick Of The Week', encompassing all drama and documentaries appear on radio 2 and radio 4 for the whole of the previous week.

'Twelfth Night' has just finished an incredibly successful resident run at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds. The play will tour to the Haymarket Basingstoke at the end of April. Meanwhile, Amy has started rehearsals on Colin Blumeneau's production of Ayckbourn's 'Relatively Speaking', to perform at Bury St Edmunds from March 31st to April 4th.

'WRITING THE CENTURY 8'. Monday 9th to Friday 13th MARCH, 10.45am, RADIO 4.

Amy has recorded 5 episodes of 'Writing The Century 8' for Woman's Hour, playing the lead role of Hazel, a young Yorkshire woman growing up in post-war Huddersfield. Directed by Peter Leslie Field. Repeated every evening at 7.45pm, and also available on 'Listen Again' on the Radio 4 website for a week after original transmission.

Amy has just accepted the roles of Viola in 'Twelfth Night' (directed by Abigail Anderson) and Ginny in 'Relatively Speaking' (directed by Colin Blumeneau), at The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds. Twelfth Night will also be touring to the Basingstoke Haymarket. Oveall dates 23 Feb - 2 May 2009.

9th January 2009.

Amy has just been offered the lead role of Hazel in the Radio 4 Woman's hour drama series 'Writing The Century 8'. The 5 episode story follows the life of a young Yorkshire woman Hazel as she grows up in post-war Huddersfield. Amy will be recording in Manchester January 19th and 20th. Transmission dates: Monday 9th to Friday 13th March 2009, at 10.45am. To be repeated each evening, and available on 'Listen Again' for a week after airing.

Amy has just finished recording a voice reel at Hope House Studios in Leeds.

Amy has just returned from 7 months of rep theatre at The Theatre By The Lake, Keswick. She is now available for work outside Cumbria!

August 2008

'The Importance of Being Earnest' has now entered the repertoire. Finally, all seven plays of the Keswick Summer 2008 season are up and running in rep. Amy can be seen in 'The Lonesome West', 'Arsenic and Old Lace' and 'The Importance' until November 8th.

June 2008

Rehearsals have just started on 'The Importance of Being Earnest', with evening performances of 'Arsenic' and 'Lonesome' continuing in rep 6 nights a week.

'The Lonesome West' has now had its Press NIght and is receiving great response from audiences and critics alike.

May 2008

The first play of the season, 'Arsenic and Old Lace' has just opened, to full houses.

April 2008

Rehearsals have just started on 'Arsenic and Old Lace' and 'The Lonesome West'. Arsenic will open at the end of May, swiftly followed by Lonesome in the first week of June. Busy times ahead!

January 2008

Amy has been cast in the Summer 2008 Keswick rep company. She will be playing Elaine in Joseph Kesserling's 'Arsenic and Old Lace' [main house production directed by Stefan Escreet], Girleen in 'The Lonesome West' [studio production also directed by Stefan] and Gwendolen in 'The Importance of Being Earnest' [main house production directed by Artistic Director Ian Forrest].
